Since this section is about Anime I thought I would start off with my favorite.
1. Clannad after Story
If you like Down to Earth, Slice of life, Comedy, and some Fantasy thrown together with some teary eyed drama this show is it.
2. Fate/Stay night
This one involves a lot of magic and spell chanting and has a very nice plot. Defiantly recommend seeing this and the prequel that is coming out Fate/ Zero.
3. Baka to Test
Let’s just say that if school was like this it would make learning a whole lot more enjoyable unless you fail.
4. High School of the Dead
If you like Zombies (and who doesn't) then this show has got you covered involving cute anime girls and lots of ammo in this apocalyptic show.
5. Gosick (Japanese for Gothic)
This show has a Sherlock Holmes feel to it with a cute Gothic crime solver who happens to have a dark past and mystery of her own.
